About the Event

Lucy Leave

Lucy Leave are an art-grunge, alt-jazz 3-piece from Oxford with Jenny, Mike and Pete sharing vocals and songwriting credits on all their songs. Their second album 'Everyone Is Doing So Well' is out now on Divine Schism and is about trying to look after your mental health, struggling to communicate, while saving the planet and fighting fascism all at the same time, and draws on the art-punk of The Minutemen and the jazz-pop of Joni Mitchell. FFO: Deerhoof, Minutemen and right-on left-wing politics.

Garden Centre Garden Centre make high tensile music about forgotten meeting places. Thier latest album, 'A Moon For Digging' was released at the end of 2019 by Specialist Subject and Kanine Records. They are currently preparing an album about streams / streaming/ throwing a pool ball as far as you can accross a field.
