"A powerful, snarling statement of post-punk energy... a meteoric rising force who are able to intrigue, shock and utterly enthral." The Line of Best Fit

“They’re capable of juddering the socks off your feet, and rocking you quietly into a cry-sleep alike.” DIY Magazine

“Pretty much perfect.” Adam Walton, BBC Radio Wales

“Such raw talent.” Elise Cobain, BBC Radio 1/Amazing Radio

The Cosmic Something is the first solo project by multi-instrumentalist and songwriter Jemma Freeman. Known previously for their song writing and guitar work with dreamy psych band Landshapes (Bella Union) and new wave art band The Fucks, Jemma has taken these two approaches and tinged them with energetic glam rock. Powerful, lush guitar tones and introspective psychedelic lyrics together with unbounded energy and urgency, their own unique strength and powerful performances pulling together themes of secret worlds, hidden agendas, apathy and anxiety. Jemma's sonorous voice tells the story of unravelling completely and tying yourself back up again. Debut EP "˜Someone Else To Blame" was well received by radio with plays from BBC 6 Music, Radio X, Resonance FM, BCB Radio, Radio Tilos (Hungary) and KSPC (LA) along with press from For The Rabbits, Get In Her Ears and Loud Women.

"Storming!" Tom Robinson (BBC6 Music) "like discovering gold beneath the mountain" John Kennedy (Radio X) "fizzing energy that flips rapidly between lush guitar work and rapid fire energy" For The Rabbits "A multi-faceted, kaleidoscopic journey" Get In Her Ears

London band with equal parts cute and sassy. (FKA Spare Rib)
